Did you pass the GED test in 2009 or earlier in Maryland?

If yes, your official diploma record may only contain your year of birth. To ensure you receive an official transcript with your complete information, please email the Maryland Office of Adult Education & Literacy Services at ged.dllr@maryland.gov before ordering your official transcript through Parchment.

In your email, provide your name as it appears on your diploma, date of birth, the year you passed the GED test and your current address. If possible, send your  information through secure email.

We strongly encourage you to verify your information with the Maryland Office of Adult Education & Literacy Services before placing your order to avoid reordering another transcript.

Attention Third Parties: Please send the graduate’s name as it appears on their diploma, date of birth, the year they passed the GED test and their current address along with a signed release from the graduate to verify their date of birth is correct before ordering an official transcript or requesting an official verification from Parchment. If possible, send your  information through secure email.
