The University of New Mexico is on Limited Operations at this time due to directives to STAY AT HOME to reduce exposure to COVID-19.  This may cause processing delays if any part of your enrollment occurred prior to 1983. Please do not select expedited delivery by FEDEX for these legacy records at this time.  Transcripts prepared for apostille require notary signature, which may also cause delays.  We are also not able to provide Pickup service at this time.


Parchment, Inc., is pleased to provide you with Transcript Order Processing Services on behalf of The University of New Mexico.

Please read the information on these pages CAREFULLY! There are many possible scenarios.
  • To optimize your transcript ordering experience, please use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • If this is your first time using the online order system, please click Create Account and enter the required information. Once your account is created you will be able to request transcripts online and track the status of your orders.
  • If you have previously created an account, please enter your Email and Password to the left and click Sign In.
  • If you recently graduated or withdrew from UNM, look for the prompts to convert the email address in your Parchment profile from your @unm.edu to another email address of your choosing.
  • If any part of your enrollment occurred prior to 1983, you should select a LEGACY transcript type. Legacy transcripts are not available as etranscripts.
  • If you are a current student, please do not select a transcript type of University of Albuquerque unless you actually attended there -- prior to 1986.
  • Etranscripts may be downloaded up to a maximum of three times over a maximum of 30 days, after which the download expires. Expired etranscripts can not be re-sent.  Etranscripts not downloaded within 30 days will have to be re-ordered and paid for again.
  • At step 2 of the order process, you will be asked to "Select your transcript destination." There are two options:  choose from a pre-populated list of Parchment In-Network Receivers or "Send to yourself, another individual, or third party," which enables you to self-enter the recipient information.
  • FEDEX orders require a street mailing address. FEDEX can not deliver to a post office box.
  • Transcripts requested with Processing time: NOW means "NOW." 
  • Transcripts requested with Procesing time: HOLD FOR GRADES will process two weeks after the last Friday of the semester. Grades of NR or I will not stop the processing of these orders.  Summer term release date is based on Nursing end dates
  • If there is an issue with receipt/delivery, we require notification within 30 days for an etranscript, within 90 days for a paper transcript..
Please -- Always review the recipient address information carefully.  Refunds will not be given if the address you have provided proves to be incorrect.
